DESCRIPTION |
Watchem ENTRAIN is an aqueous solution of highly purified and modified salts of a sulphonated hydrocarbon. It provides stable and predictable air contents in concrete, with uniform air bubbles spacing throughout the concrete mix. It is supplied as brown colored liquid, dispersible in water. |
STANDARD
Conforms to IS: 9103:1999 and ASTM –C 260 –00, as Air–Entraining Admixtures for Concrete.

APPLICATIONS
- Whenever air concrete is desired like Ready-mix, Precast and block producers etc.
- Concrete used in low temperature region.
- Concrete using high - alkali cements.
- Exterior concrete work exposed to freeze/ thaw conditions.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Watchem ENTRAIN is added to prewetted concrete mix at a rate of 0.1 to 0.3 % by weight of cement. However actual site trials have to be carried out to minimize the optimum dose for the intended application. The measured quantity of Watchem ENTRAIN is mixed with part of guaging water and then added to the mix. COMPATIBILITY
Compatible with all types of cement It is also compatible with other WATCHEM’S CONCRETE ADMIXTURES, but should be added separately to the mix. |

- Appearance : Brown colored liquid.
- pH : 11 to 14
- Sp. Gr. @ 30 c : 1.05 ± 0.02
- Chlorides : Less than 0.05 %.

Watchem ENTRAIN is available in 1 and 5 Lts. HDPE / 9-16 MT BULK

STORAGE
Watchem ENTRAIN should be stored preferably in shade and in original containers. It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in cool , dry place.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Watchem ENTRAIN is non toxic, non -hazardous . Usual precautions like wearing gloves and goggles when handling should be followed. Accidental splashes on skin and in eyes should be washed off with plenty of plain water.
