| DESCRIPTION |
Watchem ACEL is a concrete / mortar accelerator cum water reducer, free from chlorides. It is ideal for all types of concrete requiring high early strength . It is supplied as a brown coloured liquid. |
STANDARD
Conforms to IS: 9103:1999 and ASTM –C 494M – 99a,1999 Type A & C as water reducing & Accelerating admixture.

SALIENT FEATURES
- Helps in early strength gain in concrete and mortar mixes.
- Accelerates the setting time of concrete.
- Accelerated set times allows labours to finish concrete earlier
thus saving on labor costs.
- Earlier stripping and reuse of forms increases labor productivity.

APPLICATIONS
- Concreting in cold weather condition and repairs.
- Precast / prestressed operations for placements where workable
concrete is required.
- Reinforced concrete since, it contains no calcium chloride or
any other internally added chlorides.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Watchem ACEL is added to prewetted concrete mix at a rate of 0.4 to 0.6 Lt. per bag of cement .However actual site trials have to be carried out to determine the optimum dose for the intended application.
The measured quantity of Watchem ACEL is mixed with part of guaging water and then added to the mix. For further assistance in optimum dosage trials and design mix please contact our Technical Service Department. |
COMPATIBILITY
Compatible with all types of O.P. cements. It is also compatible with other WATCHEM’S Concrete Admixtures, but should be added separately to the mix. |

STORAGE
Watchem ACEL should be stored preferably in shade and in original containers. It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in cool , dry place.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Watchem ACEL is non toxic, non -hazardous . Usual precautions like wearing gloves and goggles when handling should be followed. Accidental splashes on skin and in eyes should be washed off with plenty of plain water.
